Never worked with dimple dies, is there a trick to keeping the plate flat after you have pressed the dimples in, on some I have seen the material warps a little bit from pressing the material.
 
I really need to update this thread some. I will get a few more pics posted. We are getting very close on the bouncer build.

More pressure. Another trick on parts with holes close to the edge is to remove the male side of the die after forming the dimple and then pressing it again with the female side of the die onto a flat surface. Let me know if that does not make sense. I will be working some dimples soon. I can take some pics.
 
How did you match the roll of the dash when you broke the plate around the column hole? Looks like a perfect match and I can't imagine that was easy.

I made a custom radius die for my sheet metal brake for this project. Works pretty well.
