Total newbie here need advice on more training . Help !!

Hi all my company just purchased a 4510 plasma table with a 125 amp plasma torch . I have never worked with CAD or any other design software for that matter. Welder fabricator here getting on a bit and boss thought it would be a good idea to have me learn this stuff no idea why ! Anyway I attended the class in Reno which was great but now few weeks later back at shop and setting up machine having loads of issues importing drawings and DXF files . Question is what if any training is out there that people would recommend. Not looking to actually do any drafting as such but need to be able to convert the files the drafters send to me for cutting mostly basic shaped plates with holes etc for structural steel . Any help would be gratefully received !
