VENUS FLY TRAP (CONTEST ENTRY)

Here's my Venus Fly Trap designed with TM software. I started out in the TM software using the shape library.
For the head I used oval's and resized them to what I wanted. I also used ovals for a lot of the leaf details. I used TM software to draw the teeth as well. I took squares out of the shape library and rotated them. Then I drawed an oval and welded everything together. After that I arrayed the shape and resized the teeth for the smaller heads. The tongues were ovals as well. The bigger leafs I googled leaf outline and found what I wanted and saved it. Then I brought it into the TM software and scaned it then resized it. Very simple process. From there I hammered out the head ovals and welded them together. Rolled some tube and mounted the heads. Added the leafs, tongue, and teeth. I painted a black base coat and then took lace and sprayed green over it to get some effect. Then airbrushed more detail. At first the TM software was backwards and hard to learn from what I usually program with. But after I got used to it I love it. It's very versitle. You can view some of my other work using TM software and a 2x4 TM table on Facebook. Baker Cycles & Metal Concepts. Thanks

Nice detail, it is one thing to cut out a project, entirely different when you go the extra mile and put the detail in it like you did with that, nice work.

Bump for contest entry - everyone feel free to comment on your choice for the August project winner!
