Node edit problems in cad

all of a sudden when I try to node edit when I click on a node to drag it , it doesnt move. It wont let me do anything. Could it be some setting in cad that has changed?

It is snapping to the grid

update: uninstalled and reinstalled software and it seems to work now

No need to do that just turn off snap to grid under Options.

Thanks Chad, I was at a loss yesterday trying to do some cad work. next time I will know.
