Good morning! I've been small scale fabbing with stainless for about 2 years now in food manufacturing environments. I've made an adjustable static eliminator bar bracket / system here at my plant, where we package dry spices. It uses 2 " arms " simply made of 9" cuts of 1/8" x 1" flat bar, with holes in each end. I'm using 3/8" bolt / washers / nuts to keep it in it's desired position, but I'm looking for something I can use that will have the same function as multi-positional flag pole brackets, the ones that have a wingnut and 2 pieces that join together with teeth that interlock to keep the desired position. Is there a specific terminology for this? The most similar thing I can think of is cutting tooth lock washers. And would anyone know a manufacturer who sells them, or similar items? I'm searching for something I can weld to the arms and have a simple turn knob through them. The idea is have something that is very easy for your average operator (JAFO) to adjust and secure. With the lot I have them using a couple of wrenches is already asking too much.
