height controller issues

hi from England.

I run a torch,ate machine here in the uk. it has the hight controller.

today I managed to run it into the bed by mistake,and now it will not work properly.

when I start a program it will not move down to the metal.

if I use the control box,i can manually move the height controller up and down using the jog/slide buttons

I can jog it down to the metal manualy,start the program and it will fire and cut.

any idea,s if this is fixable

If the lifter moves up and down with the JOG SLIDE feature but not for CUTTING then there is too much resistance in the lifter station mechanism or the spring coupler is broken.

Since you dont have a magnetic breakaway it is possible that the assembly will need to get re-squared. Provided is the maintenance for that lifter station to get it moving proper.
