What is this guide rod lookin thingie?

I'm wanting to build a machine for pushing cast bullets through a size die. I wanted to simply buy the guide rods and part they slide into and then connect them to the motor, but can't seem to find what they are called or if anyone actually sells them. Only thing i can think is buy a pipe and rod and polish the rod.

what am i missing here?

They are called linear guides or linear bearings. That one pictured probably has ball bearings inside but some are made with simple bronze or oil-lite bushings.
