VMD conflict with WIFI address. Cannot connect

My VMD software will not recognize the Accumove connection.

I have been succssfully running my VMD on a computer that is also connected to the internet via wifi. The address for the accumove is 192.168.1.6. I see that the wifi connection is on automatic and is currently 192.168.1.3

This has never been a problem before. Any suggestions.

I may not have been clear.

I am trying again because after talking to Tech Support, I am very confused because a new problem I am having is being attributed to a very old setup. I am now on my second 4x4 Growth Series Table with the Accumove 2 interface.

My VMD software will not recognize my Accumove connection.

I have been successfully running my VMD with the direct connect cable while connected via wifi to the Internet for many years. I am now told that it is these two connections that are interfering with each other and I should not have set it up this way.

The address for the ethernet connection to the accumove is 192.168.1.6.

I see that the wifi connection is on automatic and is currently 192.168.1.3

It has been running well until yesterday. When I turned the accumove on, it will not connect. I have not made any recent changes to my computer, accumove, wifi router , or crossover cable.

Any suggestions? thanks.
