LC100M torch

I have a 4800 table with lc105m torch and got a replacement lc100m torch because we got a letter saying the 105 had premature failure. I was just wondering what the specific advantages are to the lc100m and if I should replace my lc105m now since it seems to be working fine at the moment.

If your LC105 is currently working then great you can continue to use it until you deplete your consumables, then switch over to the LC100M. The reason for the swap out is an electrode redesign for better consumable life, the electrode, retaining cap, and shield cap are not compatible with the LC105. The nozzles and swirl ring are the only two consumables that are compatible between the two torches.

Hi. Know this is an older post but thought I would inquire as to whether the Torchmate X can use the LC100M as a replacement torch. From what I have read it can. Just want to make sure before I pick one up.
