Cutting Fine Detail Troubleshooting

Good Afternoon,
We are a school that has a 4x4 Torchmate Growth Series with a Hypertherm Powermax 65 on it. On the torch we have all the fine cut consumables which we ordered from Torchmate. One struggle we have had is cutting intricate designs or those of fine detail. I have attached some images of a 15 inch fish we cut with the following settings for 24 ga galvanized sheet metal:

Cut Height .066
Pierce Height .15
Pierce Delay 0
Feed Rate 350
Voltage 128

Is this consistent with what others have experienced or does anyone have any suggestions about how to possibly improve our end product?
Thanks!

Using the 45 amp fine cut consumables, dial your amperage down to 30 on the plasma and give that a try and you may need to drop your speed some to compensate for the reduced amperage, try 200 there about.

That voltage seems really high. Normally fine cut consumable voltage is down in the high 70’s or low 80’s. Try voltage of 80.

24g is like trying to cut paper. It’s gonna be tough to get good detail. Also, watch the torch in the detailed parts, does it seem to slow down considerably?
