I have hooked up a hypertherm powermax 65 to my accumove 3 and I am having some issues. The main issue that I see is when I input my voltage settings per Hypertherm settings and hit cut, the sample voltage brings my voltage from 127 down to .4. The cuts it makes at this setting seem to work okay, but the torch height will still get too close and at times crash into the table when the metal warps even the slightest. The raw arc wires are done exactly to the manual provided by Hypertherm. When cutting with sample voltage off it with pierce then start the cut and get further away attempting to get to set voltage until it is too far away to continue the cut. I checked voltage at the connections to see what raw arc voltage is going into the height controller and it shows 110-130 volts. Sample arc changes setting to .4 on vmd though. I looked at other posts and saw changing the distance to corner to 1.5 which I did with no change. I changed the setting to manual and have the voltage set to book and it cuts fine but does not adjust cut for warpage the reason I upgraded to the accumove 3 with avhc. Is there any troubleshooting I can do to see what might be causing this?
