Hello
I am Rabee, I live in California.
I started learning welding and metal fabrication a few months ago.
The main goal is to learn skills so I can comfortably do some project cars without the need to outsource the fabrication parts.
My current project is engine swap into 1993 Volvo 240 wagon.
The engine will be 2.3 L ecoboost Ford engine (2015+ mustang)
Transmission will be MT82 (same from mustang)
I am trying to fabricate engine mounts on the volvo crossmember.
I'm thinking to cut the actual ecoboost mounting points used in the mustang and weld them on top of Volvo crossmember...
Like cut and weld pretty much... maintaining the same width and angle of course...
Will that be doable or I am completely clueless?
Thanks
