2x2 growth. Z axis issue.

Using ohmic. Sensing I'm not certian if or how to make sure my z axis is
1: set for zero
2: set for material thickness
3: set for partial retract.
I'm using Vmd and accumove.
On occasion I get it right (without knowing how). But mostly I get
"Z axis limit exceeded -10.0000000" or similar I forgot to take a note at shop.
But if I turn ohmic sensing off and set material width I can run a job.
Any help apreciated.

When you jog the Z axis to the top of its travel and hit the button Reset Z, this will define your machine Zero, which is what everything else is based off of. Ensure that the torch can bottom out onto the material and still have some travel left over, the Z has about 6.75" of travel. When the Z is at the top of its travel and at Zero, you can go to Job Setup menu and use the job buttons to jog the Z axis down to define its Partial Retract distance by pressing the Set button next to this field, also set your Retract Mode to Partial. With all this set when Ohmic is used it will automatically detect the top of the material by touching off of it, if you turn Ohmic off then you can jog the Z axis down till it touches the material and press the Set button next to Top of Material to define it. You would turn Ohmic off when the circuit does not detect the material for instance heavy mill scale, dirty or painted material, rusty material or material that has a coating on it such as the film on Stainless Steel.
