I was wondering if it possible to make a pipe cutter from the old parts of our table that were removed when we upgraded to the accumove 3 system. The only thing I'm kinda stumped on is how the rotary axis will work, not sure if that's adjustable or even doable in the older software used to run...
Setting are all fine and table is dead level and square. We have had a few idea's from the tech guys when we sent emails to them. Checked all the bits inside the z-axis head for slop and for loose stuff found nothing.
Reloaded everything check everything was calibrated and right. But still does...
No worries will send it through. I went into the IHS settings and it was already on ALWAYS. Should i just toggle it a few times to see if the problem goes away ?
Our machine was a torchmate 2 but has all the newer parts on it and runs accumove 3. The G code file was about 1.09Mb which I think was the problem being to big. On the new sheets we are now cutting them in 3 stages to make the cut files smaller. Seems to have stopped the error from forming...
Does anyone know what this error means ? Our machine will do it when about 90% through cutting a sheet with a reoccurring pattern. Then it won't go away and it's just painful
If we get a breakaway or ohmic error the machine will stop straight away. We then clear the tip or whatever is in the way jog the torch back up to a workable height and hit the reset z-axsis and then start the job again. Works fine
I have had no problem with the tech support. Always been good. We cut all day every day with our machine for fabricating and have done for about 5 years now. I think people sometimes forget they are not the only ones in the world and just need to be patient..... I imagine tech support must go...
Tried that today. Still not working just keeps reading a voltage of around 50 and the torch will either crash into the steel and stop or sometimes slowly creep upwards until it can cut the steel anymore. What can we try next ? this is driving us insane and loosing business and customers !
We are getting a reading of 399.50 with out the 9v battery attached. With the battery attached it goes down to 390.50. So this means the problem is back in the accumove box ? should we uninstall the software and reinstall it ?
Today we tried cutting a few different shapes that would activate the corner lockout. We also set the distance to corner lockout to 10'' so we where able to monitor the arc voltage. It is showing a voltage reading on the VMD screen that is sort of bouncing between 40 to 70. What do we do now ...
Just thought I would say again. The table has been working fine for months. Is it normal for it to all of a sudden change like this ? We have also been cutting with it for probably over 3 years now. So we are pretty good on knowing what it likes and dislikes
