Thoughts on Welding Courses

I would of course say a Lincoln Electric welding course best teachers and facilities in the world. but it seems you are looking at a school in Canada. Lincoln does have a course provided in Cleveland Ohio
As far as any trade school and I did go to one, make sure the instructors have the proper certifications, if the instructor doesn't have the proper certs it could mean a large waste of money and time.
Also from experience any loans you may be offered by a school should be gone over with a fine tooth comb. Mine was promised to me as a "Max 9%" loan, it was at 9% but broken into 4 different loans so it ended up being 9% x 4. I since took out a separate loan to pay those off. My mistake but I just want you to be carful.
If there is any way you can get your son to a Lincoln campus that would be my first choice, with that on his resume any prospective employer will be impressed.

If you are from the states, AWS gives scholarships to welding students. Check out their site and talk to your areas representatives.

Can anyone give me the fee structure and their curriculum. I also would like to get some insight into the types of welding courses. Which is the best one to go for?
