When taking a spinner and adding something into the center, how do I get the center piece to weld so it stays in the center? e.g. trying to put two cardinals into the center.

generate tabs with a hole and weld it to the top/bottom on the design for connection.

To use the weld tool everything has to be on the same layer, on the rights side of the screen you should only see one color swatch, if more than one select all then right and left click on the black color swatch at the bottom of the screen, you may need to enable this feature by going to View > Pallettes > and selecting Show Job Pallette.

For your spinner, break the part if there are any objects on the inside, if you have an inside and outside border make a path on these two objects, select your border then select the part you want to weld, click on your Weld Tools then select Basic Weld.

This is still not working for me. I have the P4 showing in the job pallete. when I select the images to basic weld, the line disappears.

So you might have the single lines set up to weld also which would make them disappear. Make sure when you weld that you dont have single line selected or it will throw off the software.
