Question about Torchmate AVHC Controller please.

Hi team, thanks for all your past help.
I have a second hand Torchmate AVHC controller coming from the states including a signal generator.
1) Do I need to do anything to the controller or do I assume they all have the v.99J Controller chip?
2) I remember years ago we had to update... the Signal generator to the newer version to run Torchmate 4 and there was some caveat on doing this, any thing I should do or need to know here, as I cant remember how to even go about it or to tell what version the signal generator was using????

Shouldnt have any difficulties hooking up the new AVHC, the later versions of AVHC boxes had an issue with using the full travel of the lead screw, dropping the torch in the holder so that you limit the travel to 2.5 to 3" fixed the issue.

Thanks and the signal generator, is off a 4x4 growth series. Does using this with
Torchmate 4 driver affect anything on my 2x4 growth series ? Wasn’t there a firmware update a couple years back for the signal generator?

The height control doesnt care what table you have, is a standalone controller, it only receives an input signal from the signal generator. The TM4 software would then need to be configured to receive the input signal from the AVHC box to receive the Ok to Move signal, you software is already configured for this.
