What would be a fair price on a 2x2 machine with water table? Computer and software included. No plasma cutter. Said to be unused.

think I would be ok without the AHVC? Im a hobbiest new to the Plasma world. I already own a cnc router and would like to add the plasma to my garage shop. Use would be on the low end. No production.

I've been running a 2x4 for around 5 years with manual height control. I've pretty much worn out the crank. I've cut a lot of steel so I would think you would be just fine without AVHC on a 2x2. If you get serious you will probably upgrade anyway.

Not having AVHC is not a deal breaker. You just have to babysit it incase it needs a quick manual adjustment. The thicker the material the better. Anything thinner than 14g and you start running into issues with waves and dips. I do best with 10g. If you ever use one with AVHC you'll wonder how you ever got by without it. Just not cost effective on a smaller table, IMO.
