Newbie here - stamping logo into steel

Hi all,

I'm new here and want to thank in advance anyone who contributes to my learning curve.

I want to stamp a 3-4 inch logo into metal, probably softer metals like brass or copper. I'm not sure if as a newbie this is something I can do myself with a sufficiently large hydraulic press....or if there are other options I'm not considering out there.

Also, what size hydraulic press would I need to do this?
