ginsu tool ?

I have a student who is trying to design her sign out on our 4x4 and her sign is 3'x5'. When she uses the ginsu with closed paths it won't put in the closed paths. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I am not sure why you would want to close a path when you are going to index a part, if you close the shape it will cut it in half, you dont want to do that. Leave the shapes open cut the first half, slide the sheet down and cut the 2nd half.
