Cut coming up shorty

I've got a Torchmate 5x10 that until recently was making accurate cuts. We had a situation where the y-axis rail got blocked and caused the table to bind and stop. We've readjusted the table, but now our y-axis cuts are not accurate ( a 96" y-axis cut is cutting at 95-5/8"). We've tried trouble shooting for a couple of days and have literally come up short. Slipping stepper motor? Worn out rack and/or pinion? Thoughts?

Something is likely slipping, short of the two set screws on the spur gear you also need to check the two set screws inside the gear box, the motor is bolted to the gear box, on outside of gear box is an access hole. The hole is there to allow you to get access to the two set screws inside the Micron gear boxes, 180 apart from each other. Jog the motor slowly and you will see the set screws come around.
