when curving text on the outside of a circle, when i start typing the software starts it on inside of circle. what setting is wrong in cad? i'm familiar with instant replay

Not enough info, what version of cad do you have and do you have Protext. If using Protext you can dictate text orientation as well as above, on or below the line, see below. Otherwise edit the object change the start node and also change node direction to suit where you want the text to start from as well a direction.
