Our local community administrators wanted the welding classes to build "portal signs" along the entry into town. Our town history is rich in both the oil and coal fields. This is what the kids came up with. King Coal Company portal shows a miner with small coal cars on either side. The oil derricks was added to an existing sign. Our TM table came in awful handy in building these two projects. The you tube video briefly shows the portal projects as well.
