    Win 10 & 11

Greetings All. A quick question for you, I have an older 2x2 growth series table that runs TM 3 and TM CAD / CAM 9 on an older Win XP laptop. The laptop is getting old and needs replaced. Will these older programs run under the Win 10 & 11 OS? I notice they both have a compatibility mode to run...

    Precision welding metal studs

Any metal that thin is going to dimple with studs attached to it, I would go with some double sided bonding tape like this or spray adhesives (click the chat link and talk to them about it). build an alignment jig to properly align each pce before landing it. The acrylic is probably water jet...

Best Dust Collection System for Fab Lab?

Do a Y/T search for more ideas, keep in mind the smoother it is the less drag coefficient and better the flows. A cyclonic separator allows the heavier pcs to fall out before hitting the filter bag. Grounding is really important I can't stress that enough.

Best Dust Collection System for Fab Lab?

I use to have a 4" PVC sewer pipe manifold system my plastic shop then adapted from that to each machine as needed. Keep in mind that wood dust can be explosive and proper grounding is needed to prevent static discharge, Grizzly Industrial probably has the best supply of connections and dust...

Setting up the 4800 what i found

What is the mixing ratio for the Washing soda? Pele' is going to have a 350 gal water tank.. Edit: Ok I did more reading on the thread, I'm assuming two 55 oz boxes / 100 gal is a good ballpark to start with. PH strips could be used for exact ratio. (I currentely use dynaflux)

    Galvanizing options?

Keith, How big of box you using and have you bought it yet? some metal suppliers sell galvanized products. Your going to need several tubes, acid - rinse - plating. I would recommend a conduit that a smaller tube could be lowered into for ease of clean-out. then a block and tackle up far...
