Wavy lines

So, I am experiencing some frustration. I am getting wavy lines in the x/y axis on my cuts. I have tightened all my motors and gantry, but am still having issues. TM support said don't know?
The wavy cut is the initial cut on the out side of the part?wavy.jpg

I would be ringing Torcmate support again and asking for someone who does know what they are talking about. Several reasons cause this, as It is asked every now and then.
Can you put a pen attached to your setup and see if it draws wavy lines?

Actually it could be either the torch wobbles when it is running, some drag on the axis, or your machine isn't secure. By the looks of this image it is only going in one direction. This narrows it down to which ever axis that this rides on there is either a torch wobble, mechanical slop, or your machine is shaking. If I remember right you have a separate water table along with a bolt together table that shakes when the machine moves. Securing the bolt together table so it doesn't wobble is the first to fix as obviously you machine shakes then everything else will too. Then test with a pen as Larry stated without the plasma active and see if you get the same result.
Then you figure out the axis that this is generating on by either by pen or plasma. Work your way through the mechanics of that axis.

If you have a TM2 or TM3 you will have a linear slide and cassette, check the cassette for wobble. The bearings in the cassette are adjustable and there is a set screw that will pull the bearings tight, loosen the cassette bolts and pull the 1/4" rubber cover out of the adjusting hole and tighten the set screw found inside.
