Tool Path marks

First, I would like to say Thank you for letting me join this forum. I can run our 4' by 10' table, but am new to designing. This might be an ignorant question, but my torch comes down a second time after a cut on the same toolpath. It does a little spot at the end. Female cuts. There are 49 female cuts in this design but only three do it. I have gone through design and can't see why. Also, can't stand any tool marks on anything. Are tool path marks normal and I am too picky? Would love advice.

Well I am a newbie, but I just Cut a 12' by 12' circle on a 4' by 10' . Took 4 sheets. That is easy as pie now. Anyone know about tool path marks. Why would it come down a second time at the end. Nothing in design. Also, if you do not eliminate original design will it mess up the tool paths. I know the easy answer is yes, but not all designs are messed up if you don't eliminate original. Just curious.

This is how you save your file out of the TMCAD. Make sure you select FILE TYPE DXF POLYARC

Also, prior to generating your TOOL PATH go to VIEW/SHOW FILL. This will show you exactly how you item is going to cut out. To have your inside features DROP OUT then select all (ctrl +A) then go to ARRANGE/MAKE PATH. This will make you part one piece. Then select MACHINE/CREATE TOOL PATH /MALE. You can change you lead ins but I think you are getting MALE tool paths on your inside features because of not ARRANGE/MAKE PATH prior to you making your tool path.

Thank you for answering. I have TM 8 CAD. I no longer have that problem with female cuts. Yet, I do with online cuts. I use online for tiny cuts even if they are not a straight line. They come down a second time at end and that is not in the sequence. Can you do an online cut on a square that is small with no lead in? I put lead in at 0 but either way still does it. Also, do you have to get rid of original drawing for it to cut properly? Thank you for any help.

You can generate a ONLINE on any shape. The LEAD IN that is generated on an ONLINE path cuts over itself so I wouldn't recommend a lead in for online cutting.

I wouldn't recommend eliminating the original drawing as that will not transfer to the machine to cut.
