Ok. So follow this as Im assuming that you want a 10 sided alternating 5 and 8.5.
Select the LINE NODE EDIT TOOL
Then you will make sure you have RELATIVE MODE and POLAR (Angle and Distance)
Then left click anywhere in the MATERIAL SIZE and enter the degree and length desired. If you have 360 all around and you have 10 sides you will have
increments of 36. Then enter the length you are looking and press enter.
Now enter 72 (36 x 2) and 8.5 for the next segment.
Now repeat the process until all the way around.
Until you have a completed object.
Press APPLY at the top and BOOM. That how you make an alternating decagon.
