servo x2 switch?

    been having issues with our table lately...servo x2 switch Is getting tripped.
    any ideas what could cause this and where this switch is?

    Torchmate cad software, thermal dynamics plasma, cutting on a large 10'x16' table

    and the 10x16 is running which software? HELP/ABOUT TORCHMATE? or is this a BURNY system with a touchscreen?

    Usually if you are running a SERVO system and start getting EXTERNAL pauses or switches being tripped is from two things. Either the cable/encoder is bad on the motor, or the gear mesh is loose causing the encoder to not stay accurate. With the electronics on you want to see if you can shake the gantry on the sides. If there is ANY slop or movement then that will need to get eliminated. So check loose spur gears and set screws to verify they are tight. Third confirm that the gantry is square to the table. If the mechanics are solid then it could be a cable/motor issue. That you will need to call into tech support for some troubleshooting.
