Plate Marker Issues

We recently installed a platemarker to our 4400. We followed the instructions and have our offset set up. The issue is when we run the file the platemarker moves to the right location but doesn’t go down to touch the steel. It will move through the entire file but never move down. Air pressure is showing on the gauge to be within the parameters.

Check that your interface wires are connected to port 2 on the back of the Accumove controller, the polarity of the wires do matter so try swapping the wires.

When you say swapping the wires are you taking about unhooking the wires from the back of the adapter that plugs into the accumove and swapping them? I ask because how they are is the way it came from the factory.
I manually started the platemarker today and it shot down to the plate like a bullet.

I have not figured out how to create a new post so I'm hoping someone will get this I installed the plate marker everything works fine except for doesn't extend down to the metal when extended it's about a half inch off but it seems to operate correctly otherwise.

See the guide attached on multi-tool setup for VMD. As for the travel, make sure when activated it is at the bottom of its travel, where the pin clamps into the holder there is a little adjustment that can be made. Loosen the pinch bolt, slide the pin down till the adjusting ring as far down as it will go.
