I toggle on and off, hear no clicking. Took the orange wires off the screws and ties together, touched torch to material and it lights up. Any time in the past when grounding was an issue, the torch would go down but not fire because of rust or scale and not move. Today it touches down and moves through the cut cycle but never fires. thoughts? From what I have read on the threads, the relay is shot.? The table has been running good so I need this fixed asap.

If you have separate relay box you do not want to connect the two orange wires together and fire the torch, the relay is there to protect the internals of the Accumove.
If you have the two orange wires connected to the two terminals on the relay box and it is touching down and moving then the relay is working. If you are in Active Run and the torch touches down the Ohmic Light shows Detected and the Breakaway Lights remain off but the torch does not fire, then check the port #1 on the back of the Accumove box, little black plug is fully seated and the two wires are connected, also check your plasma cutter for any error codes. You can also test fire the plasma by jumping the two pin black plug on back of Accumove box, jumping across the two wires to see if the plasma cutter lights up.

So we know VFC box Ohmic detects without the relay. To turn the relay on, Login as Admin (PW 1234), click on Machine Settings then Advanced Tab and press the Relay Output button to turn it On. At this point you should be able to jog the torch down to the material to detect. If no detection on the material then try jumping orange wire to one of your slats.

The relay box is there to turn the Ohmic circuit on and off, once Ohmic is detected the relay turns off. Then Tool 1 light will turn on indicating it is sending output signal to the plasma cutter, this would be port 1 on the back of the Accumove box, normally wire colors are green and black on this black two pin connector. Jumping across the green and black wires on this connector would trigger the plasma cutter to strike an arc.

You are not following what I am asking you to do. The relay is working just fine.
On the back of the Accumove box, is a black two pin connector, plugged into port 1, verify this connection is good and if need be you can jump across those two wires to see if the plasma strikes an arc.

The relay gates the ohmic input. If the material surface is detected as you seem to indicate then the issue is not associated with ohmic sensing. The procedure is drive on to material, retract to pierce height, assert plasma start, wait for arc to transfer (cut sense input indicates its transferred), delay pierce period, lower to cut height, commence contouring.
You describe it pausing after the material is detected but don't indicate the torch retracts to pierce height. Does it?
If so then the issue is plasma start is either not asserting or the plasma machine isn't sensing it.

OK, let's take a step back, first let me say that my frustration comes from yesterday being my first day cutting solo as Susan has been trained in Reno, and always does the designing and the cutting. Needless to say, it looks like "I broke it". So I went back out this morning, checked all connections again, got the job set, and watched it carefully to see what happened. It comes down, shows the ohmic is detected, does not retract for pierce, and does not fire, but continues to move through cycle. No errors on the plasma cutter.
I guess as a positive, I am learning what makes this system tick, or in this case not tick. Looking forward to the next suggestion. Dan

It is retracting to pierce height, you may not of noticed it, but if the ohmic light showed detected the torch would have lifted off the material and it would have went back to not detected as it retracted to pierce height. I believe you are in Dry Run mode and you would need to click on this to change it to Active Run for the torch to pierce and begin cutting the plate.

Should be located below your Datum button, see pic attached. Click on Dry Run to switch over to Active and vice versa.
OK have that figured out, and it cuts, but like I said this morning, it touches down and does not bounce back up the way I have seen it in the past, so it hits the breakaway soon after it starts. I notice that the AVHC light is not on but the lockout is. Can this be that problem? How do I change that?

You can increase your pierce height and cut height so that it is more defined on the left side of the screen under AVHC.

Everything is set to the Hypertherm Specs the way Sue has always done. She always resets the specs before each job, and that is what I did every time I tried to run the table for the last two days. It runs, but does not jog up as it should. It maintains a constant height and then hits break away. I have wacthed this table work well dozens of times, but I don't know what to do. Sue is going to try and call someone on Friday I guess.
Well, we are back up and running thanks to Susan and Casey at Lincoln. We adjusted the breakaway magnet, but the main problem was in the Advanced tabs, we set something different on Tool 1. I learned a lot about the table the last 2 days, I am certain I can cut basic things on my own now.
