just got everything worked out, made some cuts from the shape library, made some adjustments. so I am trying to import a simple arrow shape I drew in cad and saved dxf, come up to screen that says ready to import to vmd , I hit import and it shuts down vmd and goes to my desktop screen any ideas??

Do not use the DXF import. In the CAD OUTPUT G_CODE direct to the VMD. Follow these instructions.
