Hello all I have a 4x4 table . I was half way threw a cut when the torch stopped cutting and threw code 0-52 ( no torch attached ). I tried unplugging and cleaning the connections , but that didn't work. I plugged in the hand held torch and the code goes away. Does anyone have any tips on checking the torch? or am i looking at getting a new one?

You are leaving out some critical information such as what plasma cutter you have, but my guess would be to contact the manufacture tech support line to see if they can correct the issue.

UPDATE: I was able to ohm out the torch wires and found a wire that was not properly crimped on the plug side of the torch cable. Installed a new union and its back to cutting.
