That would make sense if I was running only 1 part at a time, but my job has different parts nested on it. So they are all different. If one doesn't cut right, and I want to re cut it on an unused part of the material how do I do that?
That is not easy to do, it would be best to output the single part at lower left in the cad software creating a new gm file. Otherwise you would need to know the distance that part is from program zero, such as if it is 10" over in the X and 24" up in the Y then from where you would like to start cutting the part out. Your Program Zero would have to be 24" down and 10" over, then you could click on the lead-in cut line you want to start from and select Run from Here, once the torch moves into position press Run Job.
And yes this would be how you would skip a part or continue where you left off. It really is easier than you let on, yes it does take some time to search through the code to find where you are at, but it is much better than having to do a dry run from the beginning.
