Grounding issues?

has anyone had a problem with the yellow wire coming from the vfc box sparking against the material? it only just did this today. and now the vmd wont connect to my controller (am3). i have a feeling it may be fuse related but im far from an expert. anyone have any ideas?

The orange wire, your case may be yellow will normally emit a small spark when to tip comes in contact with the material as it is an electrical circuit.

they had the ground for the controller wiredto the ground on the vfc box then grounded to the table. i ran them independently and once i swapped outthe fuse the problem went away.
