I have an issue of constantly blowing drive cards on my older(~2008) torchmate 2. Best I can tell it is caused by my cables getting caught in the spur gears. Anybody have a creative solution? This machine is at a high school where I teach welding.
Nice thing about that 80/20 is being able to create custom brackets for the wires but since the frame has the holes is sending the cables through the center and zip tying the loose stuff.
The bracket idea is nice because it teaches the kids that you can and you don't have to always "buy" stuff to fix it.
