First time posting a project on here, hopefully it goes over well... Our metal cut saw base has been used and abused. It was time for a new one. Wanted to be able to change the angle of the cut inline with our material feed. We're able to get 75˚. The cuts are far more supported and it's been a beneficial upgrade for us. We used 1/4" plate on the top and 3/8" around the base. Let me know if anyone wants the CAD files and I'll upload them.

Very nice design and thoughts in your final outcome. I too would like to if if you would share the cad files so that I may use them to setup of our shop class chop saw to be used with student this year in class.
