Design | Cut | Build™ is back!
In this first episode of the new season, we wanted to make a new sign for the newly-constructed Torchmate Garage!
Iggy started the project by creating a line drawing of the design.
The design called for a 3D effect, so standoffs were needed. Parts 1-6 used a simple bolt head as the spacer, 8-16 needed a full-size standoff, and 7 (the Torchmate spark) called for standoffs cut in half (we only had one size in the shop).
Our production schedule allowed us to cut the parts for the second episode as well, so we did one big nested job in Torchmate CAD.
Cut Parameters:
These signs are pretty easy to make, and the end-product looks awesome! We can’t wait to see you all run with the design and make it your own!
