How do we cut various thickness of lines without it being an actual loop of nodes? Such as drawing hair on a horse mane.

There' probably a way better answer but I use center line and delete the original path. You could also break path and break node and delete the unnecessary parts.

If it is not a connected cut ie circle or any closed object, then you would use the online toolpath and the torch would cut just the line

on small closed shapes that don't have enough room for your lead in you can also use the online toolpath option

To create a line that will add definition to your part, use the node edit (pencil icon), you can trace that part each time you click it will place a node. To snap a straight line hold down the Ctrl key when you click, click apply to get out of that mode where you can then change the dimension of the line. You would not include these lines when you make path on your fully defined interior and exterior objects. Select all of your definition lines and make path then select all of your fully defined objects and make path then you can create your male and online tool paths. Modify the sequence so that the definition lines cut first (Layout > Sequence by List) then create the file.
