Just curious if any thoughts on extending the 4400 table to be able to cut 96" material.
Should have got the 4800 but hind site is 20/20.
Looks like extending the table to front by adding the gear tracks and Gantry sliders would be easy and just moving the limit switches to the end of the new extension. Changing the table size in the programs is easy as typing in the new dimensions.
Adding the length to the front of the table should eliminate the need for extending all the cables because it looks like they would go the extra length.
Is it this easy or am I missing something?

FYI... 4400 was not meant to be extended.

I was pretty sure of that but a 1932 ford wasn't meant to have a 454 engine put in it either and its done all the time. Lol
