Contest Entry - Custom Smoker

I made this smoker for a friend. Most items were cut out on a 4x4 Torchmate. It's double walled and insulated. I designed everything and made it so airflow could be dialed in easily and allow for direct flow, reverse flow, and dual flow. Even the tuning plates can be adjusted from the outside. The vertical cabinet has a hanging rotisserie that has fully adjustable/removable shelves so large items can be hung up and rotated.

Thanks Mark! I spent about a year on it. This is just a hobby, so I was working in the evenings and weekends. I did everything, including the powdercoating. I'll have to add more pics since it only allows 10 pictures.

Progressive counter weight on the lid moves back as you open the lid. This gives it more lid weight for a good seal, but makes it easy to open and it stays open.












The wheels have the logo from the University that my friend (the lucky owner of this smoker) and I attended.

Quite a bit of engineering in that. Really like the counter weight lid and gear/rack vents. Awesome job. This is the kind of stuff that really makes a plasma table useful.
