Cannot open .gm file getting vmd.exe error

I can open the VMD software, datum the torch, and move the torch manually with the arrows. When I try to open a file I am getting a Windows error message that the .exe file is not working and the computer is closing the program.

Has anyone else seen this. I was able to open a file once and when I went to do it a second time I get the error message.

Running Windows 10 64 bit machine provided by Lincoln.

Can you open the LINE SPEED TEST? Or a part made from the CUSTOM SHAPE LIBRARY? If yes then I would double check your steps generating the .gm format code out of the TMCAD.

If you crash opening up the line speed test or custom shape then I would uninstall the VMD. Remove the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Lincoln Electric\Torchmate Controller Data.

Restart the computer and download/install VMD again.
