CAD Lite loud "BEEP"

Does anyone else get a loud "BEEP" when you open CAD lite? Assuming this is the software and not my laptop, is there a way to turn it off? I nearly piss myself everytime it scares the bejezus out of me.

No. Just a loud beep when it opens. Like 5x the normal volume.

I notice that I get the same noise as well. I do not have a way to get rid of this as it is a Windows OS controlled function. My only recommendation at this time would be to turn down the volume on the computer.
