Additional Cutlines Added in VMD ??

Been learning tracing and node editing for the last month, went to shop today to cut 11 projects but once I imported the GM file into the VMD random solid red lines appeared that were not visible in Cad/Cam 9. Tried to cut a few and machine cut these random lines and ruined 6 pieces. Tried male tool paths and online tool paths as well as changing lead in points. Some of the drawings had a white broken line that eventually led in to the solid red lines. Can't seem to figure the problem out. Any thoughts would greatly be appreciated.

Currently using Cad/Cam9 and VMD set up file 1.3.2. Also when I set the program zero and use the run from here function it asks to search for current job I enter yes software replies job not found. When I click on run job the torch/machine moves randomly to a start point it seem to select Thought and possible solution for this would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thanks
Gary

First thing to check in the CAD is that you have MULTI-TOOL selected. If just PLASMA is selected then it wont put the breaks between the features. To check this go to MACHINE/MACHINING DEFAULTS. Where it states TOOL use the drop down to select MULTI-TOOL. This will put the breaks in where you need them.

Thanks Chad, apparently I had it set on plasma. Why multi - tool instead of plasma if your using plasma, just a curiosity question?

Multitool just puts breaks between the G00 (rapid travels) in the g-code by putting in a START/STOP. If you leave on Plasma it assumes the controller will automatically put in those breaks which our system does not.
