flexcut 125

I have the TorchmateX and the flexcut 125 and I noticed in a DCB episode they used the flexcut 125 for plasma marking. I have been trying to use it on 14g mild steel and have noticed on the start points there is a dimple or hole from the plasma establishing an arc. anyone know how to get rid of...
