Is there a way to edit older programs? I was working on a new program and I tried editing the program before I saved it. I was able to edit the program while I was working on it. I have some programs that I had set up to work with the Etcher and our Etcher is currently not working. I do not want to have the etcher running in those programs. I do not want to have the operator do a dry run past that part of the program and maybe miss turning it back to active run. What can I do to correct those errors without redoing the whole program? Do you know if the table will work with other CAM programs? What CAM or Nesting Programs will work? Will it work with the CAM portion of Solidworks? Thanks for your time and help
I did send an email to Support as I was working on some other issues we had going on. I was told it could be done but I do not save the file as a .cdl as I have dxfs of all my parts. We only use the CAD/CAM software for programming only. We use Autocad LT to create our dxfs. I did find out I can use the notepad in windows and edit the program. I also found a bunch of other editors as well online. As for my other question on other programming software that works with the controller, I was told I needed to contact the company of the software I want to use. I understand you want people to use your software and they do but there are companies that may use other software for design and dxfs and want to be able to nest creations or use the cad software they have if it has the ability to work with CAM systems. We want to speed up our production by having multiple people be able to create the programs. With your software we need to buy a new security dongle for each person to have the ability to create programs.
