Ok so I see a lot of you guys are doing some fantastic work and posting here. Last week my son Todd and I and another business partner went to Reno to take a training class with Chad. Beginners class. Before this class Todd had never played with the CAD software. Well Today he sat down and designed this cut out and figured out all that he had to do to make this work. While it needs some corrections before we cut the next one I just have to brag that I think he did a dang good job. Look out world. Let's see what he comes up with when he gets the hang of things.
Way to go Dad! The pic looks great. All it takes is practice and the speed at which kids pick this stuff up these days is phenomenal. How old is your son?
Oh he is 26 but my brain does not pick this stuff near as fast as the youngsters do. I was just impressed because he is not a fan of a computer.
Ah, I see. I should've caught on with "and another business partner" that he is a little older than I imagined. Anyway, coming from a family owned business background, nice to see the son involved.
Looks great! Especially for a first project. Welcome to the forum. Hoping my son takes an interest when he's old enough.
It's great to hear that the training has worked well for your family business! It's a great design as well! Keep it up!
