Working with ProText and when I start typing it starts to the right or center of the object instead of to the left no matter where I click then I can't get the typing formatted to fit the shape right. Is there a way to get the typing to start wherever I click?
You are not using the protext tool, if you were you would see a different set of icons at the top left when you are fitting text to path. What you are doing is shown in this video here https://torchmate.com/university/tmu-3-text-tool. The text will start wrapping around the object in the direction of the nodes and the start node dictates where the text will start from. Thanks for the response. I went in and edited the start node and the text wrapped around the shape as intended. As for the Icons on the top left i have no idea why they don't match Protext as i have the upgrade and did exactly what was shown in the video and the text followed the shape.
