I, we, are new here. We are a high school that purchased a Torchmate 4800. We are having issues, of course, with some programming. Tech Support is OK, but timely. Here are our questions:

    1. We have a couple larger files (projects) crated and when we run it on the table, both projects end about 10" short. The torch stays lit, but the head does not move. When we do a dryrun, it does the same.

    2. When we bring the project back to the computer with the thumbdrive, we can not open the gm file, says it is unable to read.

    Please help???

We would need to see your gm file you can attach it here. To bring a gm back into TM Cad rename the extension to .nc

We finally got it. I gave Tech Support one hell of a curveball, but they got it.......the thumb drive that we were transferring files with was corrupting the files. Going good now.
