Z axis issues ,Not a Variable [G04x0.4]

    I seem to have screwed up a machine output setting or something. All new programs i output throw the "not a variable [G04x0.4]"

    The Z axis tries to run up past zero and cant get it to correct. The older programs do fine , just the last couple i have done have this issue.

    This is using TorchMate CAD on series 4800 table

    Any help appreciated

    looks like the G4 is the dwell i was trying to program in. i am going to try it with out and see if that helps

    When creating the tool path on the Basic Cut Tab the only parameter you need to enter is the Feedrate the rest leave blank.

    Yes, getting rid of the dwell solved the issue, but why cant i program a dwell into the cut? why is the option even there if i cant use it?

    Use the Pierce Delay in the VMD software if you want to define a delay. Not all features in TM Cad software are supported by the Accumove controller.
