Fabricating a pipe cutter

    I was wondering if it possible to make a pipe cutter from the old parts of our table that were removed when we upgraded to the accumove 3 system. The only thing I'm kinda stumped on is how the rotary axis will work, not sure if that's adjustable or even doable in the older software used to run the old signal generator. Because you would have to adjust the turning speed for lager and smaller tube.

    The pictures attached are the parts we have. Going to run lager Nema 34 motor's and gearbox's for the rotary axis and probably the Y-axis.

    Yes it would be possible, see attached guide using our chuck and motor assembly, no longer available by the way. You would be on your own if using a custom gear box motor assembly, good news is you are welcome to change any settings you wish to make it work based on the motor specs.
